A successful feature wall starts with practical decisions. Tell us what equipment you need to accommodate, what you want to hide away and which details you want on display. Decorative wall panelling can form part of the same brief or be quoted as a separate room improvement.
Plan around the equipment you actually own
Send the television dimensions, its mounting requirements and a list of consoles, speakers or other equipment. We discuss cable routes, ventilation and future access before closing anything into the joinery. If the brief includes a fire or electrical alterations, the appliance specification and appropriate specialist work need to be agreed before construction.
Storage and shelving that suit the room
Open shelves, closed cupboards and display recesses each serve a different purpose. Consider the items you will store, comfortable access and how the unit sits alongside doors, skirting and existing furniture. An elevation sketch and room photographs help us work through the balance before the build.
Wall panelling and the finishing details
From a single feature wall to a hallway or living room, the layout of panelling should work with sockets, corners and openings. We discuss the material, profile, preparation and decoration included in the quotation. Send an example of the look you like and a photograph of the wall rather than relying on a style name alone.
